MechWarrior Online patched today, and the ‘big’ reveal of the Hero ‘Mech accompanied the patch.. as guessed, it’s Yen-Lo-Wang!
Yen-Lo-Wang is more then just a unique skin though.. Â Purchasing YLW for 3,750 MC (which will require either having some leftover Founder’s MC, or buying 6,500 MC (for $29.95)) will get you:
YLW Variant of the Centurion Chassis (AC/20 in the Right Arm, 2 Medium Lasers in the CT)
YLW Skin
a 30% boost to C-Bills earned while piloting the ‘Mech… yeah, you read that right.. YLW Pilots will get a bigger C-Bill boos then Founders do.
I like the story around YLW..might pick it up using some of my Founder MC, since I do like the Centurion, and can’t have a Founder’s version of that… that said.. not sure how I feel about them making YLW’s C-Bill boost be bigger then the Founder one..it’s only 5%, so I don’t think it’s really that big of a deal (despite the uproar on the MWO forums about it). Â We’ll see how PGI reacts to the feedback over the next few days.
