While I was working PGI released another promo video for a Founder’s ‘Mech… this time, they introduced the one…the only.. the Master of the Battlefield, the Atlas!
O.M.G. Â The skull paint job on the Founder’s skin looks amazing.. I can just picture that thing walking towards you through a storm on Frozen City, and all you see is the big, grinning skull coming at you.
Be sure to really crank the volume from 1:55 to 2:00.. so you can really hear/ feel the ominous footsteps.
This video showcases the Founder’s “version” of the Atlas from MWO nicely. Â Yes, the Founder’s version is really just a different skin.. but the video does a great job showing off the skin. Â Even the one armed Atlas at 0:38… would make me turn tail and run if I were in a medium or light ‘Mech.
The Atlas is capable of of raining destruction upon it’s enemies from every distance.. the LRM20 gives it the long distance touch, medium lasers to soften you up as it closes, the SRM6 and the AC/20 provide that close in, devastating damage to finish you off.
My only real complaint about the video, is that the Founder’s Pack information ‘slides’ went by too quickly.. I had to pause to read them in their entirety.
