The bi-weekly Q&A with the MWO Dev team, has had the A part posted for all the Qs asked last week.<\/p>\n

There are a LOT of questions answered this week, so make sure you head over and read the thread<\/a> yourself, I’m just going to highlight a few that interested me the most.<\/p>\n

This one about external customization is a neat tidbit, it might be fun to plop an Atlas’ head on a Centurion chassis:<\/p>\n

IDG: Will we be allowed to purchase “garage kits” for our mechs that offer cosmetic physical changes, such as alternate heads or shoulders?<\/p>\n

A: Yes. No ETA.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Existing map sizes will not be getting changed to Alpine Peak sizes:<\/p>\n

Nick Drezary: Are you going to expand old maps to be closer to the Alpine map size?<\/p>\n

A: No. We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re happy with the variety, sizes, and tactics of each map so far.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This is good.. having a variety of map sizes is good, it encourages different builds..so not everyone is running a Sniper build, for example.<\/p>\n

And we get confirmation that no Auction House functionality is planned:<\/p>\n

NightFallsOnU: Will we (i am hoping with CW or Clans) get to see anything close to an auction house like most MMOs have? I.E. maybe open up the “Blackmarket” for player based selling of mechs and equip?<\/p>\n

A: No auction house is planned. We do not intend to support Player to Player transactions.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
