{"id":927,"date":"2013-01-23T15:28:42","date_gmt":"2013-01-23T22:28:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bigdamnheroes.org\/?p=927"},"modified":"2013-01-23T15:28:42","modified_gmt":"2013-01-23T22:28:42","slug":"patch-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.bigdamnheroes.org\/?p=927","title":{"rendered":"Patch Day!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today is Wednesday.. which means, we&#8217;re getting all the patches that were originally scheduled for Tuesday, but were delayed!<\/p>\n<p>The MechWarrior Online team gave us, what at an initial glance, seemed like a very &#8216;sparse&#8217; patch (granted, it could have fixed every bug ever, added endless new content, and someone, somewhere, would have complained it was too small).\u00c2\u00a0 But, deeper inspection, reveals some diamonds in today&#8217;s patch!<\/p>\n<p>Like these two:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fixed some issues with CryEngine.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed a few memory leaks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>10 words have never been so exciting to see.\u00c2\u00a0 From a cursory glance at the MWO Forums, folks are seeing a 10-15 FPS increase after today&#8217;s patch!\u00c2\u00a0 This is good indeed&#8230; there are also posts saying that the &#8220;lagshield&#8221; has been lessened some, so you can actually hit those pesky light &#8216;Mechs now!<\/p>\n<p>This is the true gem of the patch though:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Start-up animation at the beginning of the match.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Yup..
