{"id":751,"date":"2012-09-06T07:35:22","date_gmt":"2012-09-06T13:35:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bigdamnheroes.org\/?p=751"},"modified":"2012-09-06T07:35:22","modified_gmt":"2012-09-06T13:35:22","slug":"mwo-downtime","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.bigdamnheroes.org\/?p=751","title":{"rendered":"MWO Downtime"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The MechWarrior Online website, and game servers, will be down for extended maintenance today (announcement from their Facebook page):<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Greetings MechWarrior Community,<\/p>\n<p>This message is to inform you that we will be\u00c2\u00a0<strong>temporarily shutting down<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0all MechWarrior\u00c2\u00ae Online\u00e2\u201e\u00a2 related services for an\u00c2\u00a0<strong>extended maintenance<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0period.\u00c2\u00a0 This includes the game servers, the web server, PlaySpan operations (Founder\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Packages) and our backend database servers. The current scheduled maintenance window is\u00c2\u00a0<strong>Thursday, September 6, 2012 &#8211; From 10AM &#8211; 2PM PDT<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0(4 hours).<\/p>\n<p>Keep an eye on the\u00c2\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MechWarriorOnline\">Facebook<\/a>\/<a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/MechWarriorF2P\">Twitter<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0feeds for any updates regarding this maintenance window.<\/p>\n<p>What does this mean?<\/p>\n<p>During the maintenance window:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You will not be able to play games.<\/li>\n<li>You will not be able to log into the client.<\/li>\n<li>You will not be able to log into the website\/forums.<\/li>\n<li>You will not be able to purchase a Founder&#8217;s Package.<\/li>\n<li>You will not be able register a new pilot.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Also, essentially\u00c2\u00a0<strong>all data<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0is being wiped.
