This week’s question is:<\/p>\n

\nHow many turns would you want your matches to go, on average? How many minutes would you expect to spend on each turn?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

My Answer:<\/p>\n

I fall in the ‘no limits’ crowd.<\/p>\n

If I had to guess.. I’d be surprised to see a match end (without one side ‘throwing’ the encounter) in less than 30 turns – once people get familiar with the game. Anything shorter than that, and I think it’ll be a rushed outcome.<\/p>\n

As for time per turn, it’ll probably take 2-3 minutes per ‘Mech to take my turn, so, I’d need 15-20 minutes a turn. But, I need to temper that with, the ‘timeout’ clock for a player abandoning their game and forfeiting should be DAYS, not minutes.<\/p>\n
