{"id":1301,"date":"2013-11-26T21:11:25","date_gmt":"2013-11-27T04:11:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bigdamnheroes.org\/?p=1301"},"modified":"2013-11-26T21:11:25","modified_gmt":"2013-11-27T04:11:25","slug":"and-there-goes-32-million","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.bigdamnheroes.org\/?p=1301","title":{"rendered":"And&#8230;there goes $32 Million&#8230;."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I feel like I just wrote one of these&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Today during the live stream (about an hour into it), Star Citizen surpassed the $32 Million funded mark. \u00c2\u00a0In fact, at the time of writing this, it&#8217;s almost at $33 Million (so, expect to see another &#8216;look there goes a million bucks&#8217; post tomorrow).<\/p>\n<p>The $32 Million mark unlocked the second of the &#8216;community vote&#8217; ships:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Aegis Surveyor<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0\u00e2\u20ac\u201c The Surveyor, from noted military contractor Aegis, is an industrial-quality salvage ship. Equipped with a reinforced cargo bay, a long-range jump drive and launch pods for unmanned drones, the Surveyor is an ideal ship for taking advantage of deep space wrecks. Tractor beams, floodlights, scanner options and docking ports round out the tool chest on this capable, utilitarian spacecraft.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We also got the $34 Million community voted goal revealed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>MISC\u00c2\u00a0Hull C (Discreet)<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0\u00e2\u20ac\u201c Scaling from small \u00e2\u20ac\u0153box trucks\u00e2\u20ac\u009d to massive supertankers, the\u00c2\u00a0MISC\u00c2\u00a0range of cargo hulls (A-D) are the standard goods transporter in human space. Extremely configurable,MISC\u00c2\u00a0Hulls can be adapted for most any type of transport job: from standard bulk shipping on the patrolled spacelanes to armored cargo hauling on the frontier.
