The stretch goal we unlocked at 22 million was:<\/p>\n

- Facial Capture System<\/strong>. We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve researched a technology that uses a series of cameras to capture real heads and import them into the game. This will let the team more easily create a variety of realistic characters. In addition, the technology is mobile enough to allow us to take it on the road and capture select fans during special events! And, as is tradition, the stretch goal that is two million dollars away, has been revealed:<\/p>\n

- Public Transportation System<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0\u00e2\u20ac\u201c Need to get from one place to another but don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t have a starship? We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re building a galactic transportation system. You can travel via transport from system to system in Star Citizen and even ship items (like a ship you need move to another hangar.) With this stretch goal, we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll expand this system: star liners, long range transports, charter ships and flyable shuttles!<\/li>\n
- In addition to this immersion-enhancing design upgrade, we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re also going to dedicate some of the additional funding to making next year\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s CitizenCon a bigger event! Thank you for making this all possible. Keep spreading the word!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

The Public Transport System should come in handy for people who are waiting for Insurance to replace a new ship, started an account with only an additional character slot (so they could crew on a friend’s ship), or are ‘stranded’ from hitching a ride on a friend’s ship, and logging out before the friend. \u00c2\u00a0It could also tie into the economy\/mission system pretty easily. \u00c2\u00a0For example, if someone needs a ride from Terra to Ellis, the mission to taxi them, might be offered to Players and NPCs.<\/p>\n
Hangar Patch seven has also been pushed out today… patch notes for it are available here<\/a>. \u00c2\u00a0This patch includes the Avenger, Aurora LN, and our Fishtanks.<\/p>\n
