{"id":1226,"date":"2013-10-08T20:50:53","date_gmt":"2013-10-09T02:50:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bigdamnheroes.org\/?p=1226"},"modified":"2013-10-08T20:50:53","modified_gmt":"2013-10-09T02:50:53","slug":"not-so-secret-anymore","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.bigdamnheroes.org\/?p=1226","title":{"rendered":"Not so secret anymore"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The proverbial cat, is out of the bag. \u00c2\u00a0Today, BioWare officially announced the Super Secret Space Project is done (well, mostly done).<\/p>\n<p>Star Wars: The Old Republic&#8217;s next digital expansion will be:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Galactic Starfighter<\/strong><br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/KwwHO86aZ9E\" height=\"315\" width=\"420\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nHere&#8217;s what we know so far:<\/p>\n<p>Unlike the current space missions in SWTOR. \u00c2\u00a0Space combat in SWTOR:Galactic Starfighter will be &#8216;off the rails&#8217; (meaning, you can fly anywhere you want to in the area).<\/p>\n<p>PvP Only expansion.<\/p>\n<p>12v12 Combat (So, hopefully the space warzones are huge, to avoid a 12v12 furball in the middle of the map 100% of the time).<\/p>\n<p>No Level Cap increase<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Full&#8221; like current WarZones are. \u00c2\u00a0the GS page does mention fighting with your companions so maybe BioWare has a surprise up their sleeves for that, but we&#8217;ll have to wait and see.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not sure I agree with BioWare calling this an expansion, based on what we know so far, it feels like a &#8216;normal&#8217; content patch amount of content (they didn&#8217;t, for example call it an Expansion when they added the Novare Coast warzone to the game).<\/p>\n<p>Semantics aside, it&#8217;s nice to finally get some &#8216;off the rails&#8217;
