{"id":1018,"date":"2013-04-11T17:01:15","date_gmt":"2013-04-11T23:01:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bigdamnheroes.org\/?p=1018"},"modified":"2013-04-11T17:01:15","modified_gmt":"2013-04-11T23:01:15","slug":"gifts-from-trion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.bigdamnheroes.org\/?p=1018","title":{"rendered":"Gifts from Trion!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As I mentioned previously, the launch of Defiance has been mostly smooth (less smooth if you play on the XBox).. and Trion has done a very good job communicating the issues with their playerbase.\u00c2\u00a0 There have been daily (or, twice daily) patches to address server side issues, they&#8217;ve pushed the release of the first DLC back at least a week to concentrate on bug squashing (They should do like I do, and just run those bugs over with a Roller, while holding down the boost button)&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>There have been some bugs, crashes, etc.. but, a certain amount of that is to be expected with the launch of any MMO.\u00c2\u00a0 Today, Trion has announced their plans to &#8216;Kiss and make up&#8217; with the Community, as another acknowledgement of the launch issues, and a &#8216;thank you&#8217; gift for the patience players have had in putting up with the rough spots.<\/p>\n<p>All current players will receive:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Exclusive Launch-Only In-Game Title: Daredevil<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 1-Week Weapons Skill Boost<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 1-Week Scrip Boost<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 1-Week Loot Boost<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 1-Week XP Boost<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The next time you log in, you should see your goodies!\u00c2\u00a0 You can read the whole announcement from Trion <a href=\"http:\/\/community.defiance.com\/en\/2013\/04\/11\/i-think-our-relationship-could-use-some-boosts\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If that&#8217;s not enough communication for you, and you&#8217;re still wondering &#8220;When is Trion going to fix things!!?!?!&#8221; Well, they&#8217;ve addressed that as well&#8230; They&#8217;ve provided an early glimpse (i.e. not final, things still subject to change, don&#8217;t bet millions of dollars on it) at the <a href=\"http:\/\/forums.defiance.com\/showthread.php?30976-Defiance-Patch-1.010-Sharks-%28in-winter-solstice%29\" target=\"_blank\">patch notes<\/a> for the first big client side patch since launch (should be rolled out next week).<\/p>\n<p>There are a LOT of bug fixes, balances, tweaks, improvements.. etc.. pretty much everything you could want from the first client side patch for your shiny new MMO&#8230; and, since the notes are so long, I&#8217;m copy\/pasting them after the jump.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t see a mention of preventing those 99&#8217;er guys from mopping the floor with me&#8230; so, maybe that&#8217;s the next patch?\u00c2\u00a0 ;)<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>efiance: Patch 1.010 &#8211; Sharks (in winter solstice)<\/h2>\n<div>\n<div id=\"post_message_286421\">\n<blockquote><p>Our team is working day and night to provide updates and add more polish to Defiance across all platforms.
