TOR Friday Update 12/1

In addition to today being the start of the next (and presumably Last since we’re now less than 2 weeks from Early Access) Beta Weekend… we got a Friday Update consisting of the next in the “Choose Your Side” videos:

The Imperial Agent wins this round.. they’re almost as cool as Smugglers after all (they do have cooler Cybernetic options in game then Smugglers).

 

We also got a blurb about the Razer TOR Branded official peripherals.. and I’m still willing to let anyone who wants to buy me any of these peripherals do so.. they’re a bit outside of my price range..

TOR Screen Shot of the Week 11/30

So.. I’m a few days late posting this, but it’s been one of those weeks for me ;)

 

This week’s Screen Shot of the week from Bioware, comes from a Planet I’ve spent a decent amount of time on in Beta.. Nar Shaddaa (ok, technically, it’s not a planet, it’s a moon)..  This shot shows off the holographic trees pretty nicely.

 

I never saw a non-holographic tree while I was there… I wonder if there are any?

Revan – Available Now!

It’s November 15th.. and that means the 3rd book in the series leading up to the state of current events in Star Wars, at the launch of TOR… is now available!  You can get the eBook here (iTunes!).  Here’s the description:

 

There’s something out there:

a juggernaut of evil bearing down to crush the Republic-

unless one lone Jedi, shunned and reviled, can stop it.

Revan:  hero, traitor, conqueror, villain, savior.  A Jedi who left Coruscant to defeat Mandalorians – and returned a disciple of the dark side, bent on destroying the Republic.  The Jedi Council gave Revan his life back, but the price of redemption was high.  His memories have been erased.  All that’s left are nightmares – and deep, abiding fear.

What exactly happened beyond the Outer Rim?  Revan can’t quite remember, yet can’t entirely forget.  Somehow he stumbled across a terrible secret that threatens the very existence of the Republic.  With no idea what it is, or how to stop it, Revan may very well fail, for he’s never faced a more powerful and diabolic enemy.  But only death can stop him from trying.

 

I’ve read Deceived and Fatal Alliance.. so I’m really looking forward to Revan..plus, as a fan of the original Knights of the Old Republic video game.. I’m curious as to what Revan’s fate is (though.. I understand we’ll find that part out in game).
